I AM ELEVEN trailer

I Am Eleven focuses its attention on the ephemeral year of double-digits when young people are straddling the line between childhood and teenage-dom and “preparing to inherit a world changing as quickly and dramatically as they are”.
The above trailer gives a brilliant taste of what to expect from the film—which is currently slated for release later this year—in which 11-year-olds all over the world discuss everything from war, terrorism and politics to film, friends and art.
From a boy who appreciates the romance in Dirty Dancing to Czech Republic resident Grace, who says of her place in the world, “Sometimes I have to remind myself, Grace, don’t grow up too quickly, you’re eleven, just enjoy it while you can,” I Am Eleven promises to be a funny, heartbreaking and revealing reminder of what it’s like to experience your 11th year.
