INVISIBLE ARTWORK GETS INKED

The concept was created by Solidarités’ agency, BDDP Unlimited, and produced by Hush, but was impressively crafted by director Clément Beauvais. The french filmmaker—and man of many other talents—used his skills as an illustrator and director to both create the artwork and film this visual masterpiece. A unique and incredible form of art, Beauvais’ ink and water creation symbolizes the threat of unhealthy drinking water, in a campaign launched to coincide with World Water Day on March 22nd, 2011.
Each year, an estimated 3.6 million people die from waterborne diseases, making it one of the leading causes of death in the world. The campaign calls for journalists to use the power of word to spread awareness and for as many people as possible to sign a petition that will be handed to the French president at next year’s World Water Forum. Although facts and figures can be heart-breaking, it’s equally heart-warming to see such inspiring campaigns taking the steps towards making a difference.
